Pharmaceutical Chemical Manufacturing

Pharmaceutical chemical manufacturing is the process of creating chemical compounds used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure disease (CURE AND TREAT MEAN THE SAME THING. CHOOSE ONE OR THE OTHER). These products include antibiotics, synthetic drugs, vitamins, synthetic hormones, and vaccines. Formulation and development is the most extensive and expensive aspect of creating a new drug. It takes years of research, trial testing and large amounts of funding to acquire the licenses needed to commercially produce a drug. The FDA, Food and Drug Administration, was created to monitor and regulate the drugs manufactured and sold in the United States. They are the government law enforcement entity regarding food and drug manufacturing, sales, and standards.
